Sorry for the recent vacancy of hinesneely studio. I've been really busy. But the good news is that I am working on a story. It has a working title at the moment but some of it will be posted up here! It started off as a comic strip. I decided to make it a full length novel. The old strips will be posted up here. It's not a lot of them so they will be posted every month. Look out for that and comment, share and like!

The last post of the Telekinetic. The last last post won't be displayed simply because well it's very simple in a sense. So I decided to keep that one in my portfolio. Hope you enjoyed it thus far. After all of this I kinda realize that water colors are freakin difficult. Will I give up and start using digital colors again? yeah probably. But from time to time I might experiment with water colors again.

Daytona Beach!

The Marching Sound Machine, which I am apart of went to Daytona Beach this weekend. It is most beautiful there. I watched the sunrise over the beach and got a two real fancy pictures that were freakin amazing if I do say so my self. So please enjoy these two pictures. On another note the conclusion of 'The Telekinetic' will be coming out this week so look out for that.

Exciting news!!

Alright people! I have some wonderful news! I have been called to make a character of a up and coming anime show! It sounds like a sure thing and I'm definitely excited to do this.I am definitely going to join the team once I get more time on my hands and be apart of something like this. It will also give me experience and may prepare me for owning my own business. It has encouraged me to do start my own poject 'The Telekinetic' that has really been put off for long enough because of class. School is for the birds I always say but without it....how do expect to get as much experience as you can? In the next month the 'The Telekinetic' painting series will be done and I can start on my personal projects again! I'm beginning to work on bigger sheets of paper. Yes, yes I will be diggin in!

Old Stuff

So I'm in Indianapolis for the Circle City Classic against NCCU vs SC State University. It should e a good game especially with the bands. But the classic got me searching for some old pictures. Some of these people have already seen or what not, but at the same time they are my favorite. You can choose which one you like the best.

PS: Johnny Bravo is like my favorite cartoon character. I use to draw him too much.

So I'm currently working on the 4th piece to 'The Telekinetic' but the problem right now is that I am Oh soooooooooooo busy with everything else. I'm still waiting on the day when I can just draw and sell and sell and draw. That would be some amazing days right there. Telekinetic 3 of 7

The third installment of "The Telekinetic" Here I introduced a antagonist. You can tell by the red stuff coming from his eyes...for those who didn't know. People around campus have been asking me about this series and the only thing I can tell them now is "I'm working to get this in Graphic Novel form." So Like I said before give me another week and I'll be writing a script for "The Telekinetic" which should be rather exciting.

PS. Can someone help with putting pictures together in photoshop, i'm tired of seeing a blurred line that doesn't exist in the middle of my art.

Telekinetic 2 of 7

Part 2 of the 7 part hero series. Didn't take me long to do this one. I could have done it in one sitting, but college sucks when you have more than one class that's not related to your major. Right around next week I will definitely be starting the script for an actual graphic novel of 'The Telekinetic'. I wish I had some more time to do just one thing, in particular you know doing art. Telekinetic 1 of 3 should be coming like tonight. Just enjoy this guy saving people from falling in a dam, I need to go wrap my knee. It buckled today and it doesn't feel quite nice.

Oh yeeeeah PS: That line that goes across the page is not actually apart of the painting. That's me trying to put the picture together in photoshop because my scanner is too small. 

The Telekinetic 1 of 7

I finally got the first of 'The Telekinetic' series done. I'm getting somewhat better with watercolors and backgrounds (backgrounds are kind of new to me). Just have to be more careful around the edges and what not but I'm getting there. With this series I need to have a new picture done every two weeks so look forward to the end of the series by the end of November maybe? Or just wait until the number at the top says 7 of 7.....that makes more sense.

So I totally got my frames today. I'm excited because I will be selling these prayerfully. the ones going up for auction are 'The One' and 'Who is the Maastah?!' B.O.S.S

Just a little design I did for my college ministry at Nehemiah Christian Center. We call ourselves BOSS which is an acronym for 'Big On Saving Souls'. We will be doing activities in the near future around the Durham area more in particular on the campus of NCCU. Look out for us if you are near there.

I can see it coming to life!

Sooo pretty soon here....I'll be getting supplies. What are these supplies you ask? Why they are frames and shipping supplies. For what you may ask?! Why it's because I will begin to auction these pieces of artwork off on eBay! And or selling them on Amazon.com. Sounds wonderful yes, But I am so serious about this. I'm starting to get into the business aspect of art and found this is a good way to get started. I'll have some type of experience when I get into Grad school. Don't worry! The first to go up for Auction will be "Puny Blue Man!" And then "The One" But don't worry...more fan art and original pieces will go up! In fact I am working on a series right now, called "The Telekinetic" So watch out for that! Other than let's freakin celebrate for my future success with some Dark Cristal!

Classes...dear sweet classes!

Hello everybody! Well as you can see....new artwork hasn't been put up in a while. But DO NOT fret! I will make it a priority to have two pieces of work up every month. Sounds like a plan....but please don't haggle me about it. I'm a busy person just like everyone else and between class, personal life and band......class and band pretty take up all of my personal life. So just freakin ber with me! ALRIGHT?! Who is the Mastaah!?

"Leroy traveled far and finally found him sitting in a grassy plain as if he was waiting for him. Leroy bowed to him and asked to be trained by the one true master: Bruce Lee. Lee looked at him stood up and took a fighting stance. Leroy did the same and turned on his glow. Leroy knew this wouldn't be easy, but it was going to be worth it in the end."

Just a little scenario if Bruce Leroy from The Last Dragon met Bruce Lee....the greatest of all time. If you haven't seen the last dragon you should look at it. Apparently it's Cult Classic now which is a good thing a guess. I like it and they're talking about a remake now which could be awesome! If you don't know Bruce Lee...then I don't know. You're probably living under a rock or born in the millenium. Even then people still talk about him! 11x14 water color.

Band camp has actually done me some real good concerning my art. I am now inclined to do a series on the Marching Sound Machine of North Carolina Central University, along with two or three t-shirt deigns. I'm aiming at about 6 pieces of work for this series sooo look forward to it in the mean time check out the MSM logo!

The One...

A piece I did for all the lovers out there who found love and marriage. I dedicated this to one of my professors who just recently got married in July. He wanted to put it in his wedding, but some of his people were saying it's too sexual. Well if I am correct when someone gets married the next thing they want to do is go to an exotic country or city and have some hot married people sex! In other words they come together and make one person. Sorry about the crappy quality. 11x14 art markers

LU Volume #1

A prospect cover for a graphic novel I'm working on. It's going to be a long time coming before this completely finished. Writing is really a had thing to do. I don't think some people understand that really. I remember when I told some of my friends about it they definitely said "Let me read the script when you're done yo!" Then about two weeks later come back to me and ask "You done yet?"......yeah I just need to go ahead and write the next 250 pages! Once I finish the script I'll start looking for a publisher which I'm pretty excited about.

Back to Life!

So I'm back in Durham for my last year at North Carolina Central. It's a bittersweet type feeling about it. After this REAL life starts and from what I've been told...real life kind of sucks -__- yeah can't wait to start paying bills. Oh the better days of the 90s! How I wish you were here! In memory of the 90s here's a song I found kind of funny....mainly because I couldn't under stand anything he was saying. En-freakin-joy! "A Walk with Christ"

Pretty self explanatory. I enjoy hearing about other people's walk with God. It gives me plenty of faith. I gave it a sunset background, every times someone says "my walk with God" I think of a sunset. Some Christians should get there own life together before judging others, God accepts everyone. Does He like the some of the things we do? No, and somethings he absolutely detests it, but He loves you anyway. 11x14 watercolor.

I was watching Casino Royal and had an itch to do something Bond like. Although this was done about a month ago. In other news Skyfall will be freakin awesome! Daniel Craig has proven to be one of the best Bonds out there. Who's your favorite Bond? On sale. 11x14, art markers.

Inked version. Sorry for the terrible quality. I really need to invest into a bigger scanner. If anyone else knows how to higher quality pictures please let me know. Took the same concept of my first cover. I feel like this one is more action packed and looks more high octane (haha). I'll be working with these guys pretty soon in a project. I'm totally hoping it works out the way it needs to.

My original characters, an illustration I did for an advanced studio class. It's my first time using water colors I'm using these characters in future projects. The biggest lesson I learned out of this. Get waterproof ink! 11x14

Ace Ventura kickin' it with JB

I think these guys are too cool for school I also think they are definitely two of the most renowned womanizers out there. Although Bravo is more blunt about it than Ace. It makes sense right? Colored in photoshop. 11x14.

'Puny Blue Man!'

Hulk vs Superman; I've seen the actual outcome which was a loss for both of them (in my opinion) because Hulk gets thrown into limbo or whatever and Superman mourns at the wasteland which is Metropolis (Hulk did damage before he left!) But my personal preference...Hulk beats the living spirit, that embodies superman, out of em! What do you think? colored in photoshop. I will print this out on 11x14 poster.
